The Course

The Buck Lake Disc Golf Course in located in Tallahassee, Florida.  The course was built in 2021 as a 9-hole course before expanding to 12 holes.  Currently, 1 pad (hole 1) is concrete and the remaining 11 are artificial turf pads.  There are tee box signs that indicate the hole number and distance and the course is listed on Udisc app.  The course sits on the property of Morningside Church located at 1560 Pedrick Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32317. 

Features

• Permanent Tee Signs for 9 of the 12 holes.
• Loaner box with around 20 "beginner-friendly" discs free to be borrowed while people try out disc golf. 
• Lost disc return box that is checked daily.
• Many holes have "10 meter" bricks indicating the "circle" around the baskets. 
• Trash cans near holes 4 and 7.
• Portable toilets near hole 7's basket near the soccer fields during soccer season.
• Benches on holes 2 and 6.
• Hole 3 putting game.  There are 12 painted bricks surrounding hole 3 that can be used to test your putting.  There are "mandos" on a few holes that will test your ability to make putts from straddle and staggered stances.  Please yield play to those playing the course.

Course Hours
The course is open during daylight hours except for Sunday mornings through 2pm and Wednesdays after 4pm.  Seasonally the soccer fields will be occupied by players and their parents.  This will result in cars being parked on fairways and people moving between the parking lot and the fields.  REMEMBER:  pedestrians, parked vehicles and lawn maintenance crew have the right of way.  Please use caution and skip a hole if unsafe or a likely chance of harming a person or property.
